ABOUT

Kris Wilson graduated from Mississippi State University in 2011 with a BFA in Painting. In 2015, he graduated from New Mexico State University with a MFA in Studio Art.

 

He focuses on abstractions of the world around him. He can be inspired by anything from mountains to cityscapes to graffiti / cover painting on the sides of buildings. Each of these serves as an inspiration for his current work.

 

Kris is an instructor at Holmes Community College where he teaches Drawing, Design, Three-Dimensional Design and Art History.

 

Kris has also had work featured in various shows including his most recent exhibition, Interludes, in June of 2017 at Deep South Gallery in Jackson, MS.
